06 October 2008 Cheshire Digital Services Ltd Wins Regional Heat of 2008 Sky’s Independent Retailer of the Year Cheshire Digital Services Ltd, one of the Sky authorized sales agent (ASA) for Cheshire, has scooped the Regional Excellence heat of the prestigious Sky Independent Retailer of the Year Awards and £5,000 worth of marketing support. The awards, now in their fourth year, are principally sponsored by ASTRA and received entries from Dealers all over the UK. Dealers were judged on a wide range of criteria including customer service, staff training, and marketing, but for the coveted Retailer of the Year award the judges were looking for an independent that had done something unique. On behalf of CDS, the owner Stephen Bushell said: “We are thrilled to have won our Regional Excellence heat. It’s a superb boost for the business and recognition for the hard work of all our staff.” There were also a number of special achievement awards such as Most Impressive Newcomer, Sales Assistant of the Year, Most Improved ASA, Lifetime Achievement, and the ASTRA High Definition award. The winners were announced at a gala dinner at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort in Wales on October 2nd, and the evening included a live performance from the fantastic Jamelia. and excellence within our industry.
CDS recently have been awarded with a Regional Award for our work as an Independent Sky Retailer.
